why is not all your coffee Fair Trade Certified?

Our Espresso roast (our core coffee bean in the espresso machine) is 100% Fairtrade certified. Some of our other coffees are too. Not everything can be 100% Fairtrade because of various reasons. The most important one is that we also find high quality coffee, which is not associated with the Fairtrade organization but with a different organization. 99% is covered by our own CAFÉ-practices: a set of rules which our farmers need to follow. These rules are not only touching an honest price (fairtrade) but also social responsibility, environmental footprint etcetera.

However, Starbucks Coffee Company still remains one of the largest buyers of Fairtrade Certified coffee in the world.
